Before using the Car Head Lamps And Rear Lamps Vacuum Coating Machine, you must ensure that the equipment is in good working condition, which includes checking whether key components such as the vacuum pump, control system, and heating system are operating normally, and ensuring that the coating materials are sufficient and of qualified quality. At the same time, the lamps to be coated need to be cleaned and pre-treated to ensure that the surface is free of oil and impurities. After the equipment is ready, put the pre-treated lamps into the vacuum chamber. Usually, there are multiple workpiece racks in the vacuum chamber, which can process multiple lamps at the same time. After closing the vacuum chamber door, start the vacuum pump to start vacuuming. During the vacuuming process, pay attention to the changes in the readings of the vacuum gauge to ensure that the vacuum degree reaches the preset value. When the vacuum degree reaches the requirement, start the heating system to heat the coating material. During the heating process, the coating material will gradually evaporate and diffuse to the surface of the lamp. Pay close attention to the changes in the readings of the temperature control system and the vacuum gauge to ensure that the coating process is stable. When the coating material is completely evaporated and attached to the surface of the lamp, turn off the heating system and start the cooling system to cool the lamp. During the cooling process, pay attention to observe whether there are any abnormal phenomena on the surface of the headlight, such as cracks, bubbles, etc. If there are any abnormalities, they must be handled in time. After the headlight is completely cooled, open the vacuum chamber door and take out the workpiece. At this time, the surface of the headlight has been covered with a uniform and dense coating layer with optical properties and durability.
System Summary
This is the reflectance layer created typically on injection molded plastic for headlamps and tail lamps. We are capable of achieving 90% reflectivity with Al (aluminum) and 95% – 98% reflectivity with Ag (silver). Our systems are designed to have fast cycles for running in-line with injection molding machines.
